BRSV Protest Erupts Outside SBTET Office Over Attendance Issues and Supplementary Exams

A large protest took place in today outside the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) office as , led by BRSV Coordinator Mir Qurram Ali, demanded the introduction of semester-wise supplementary exams and a resolution to ongoing attendance issues. Ali, speaking at the protest, condemned the rigid attendance policies that have barred many students from taking exams. “The future of over 1 lakh students is at risk due to these unfair policies,” Ali said. The protest escalated when Ali was detained by police, prompting chants from the crowd calling for immediate action from the government.The students, frustrated by the absence of an education minister and the government's lack of response, criticized the state leadership for neglecting their concerns. Ali vowed to continue the fight for student rights, emphasizing that students played a key role in the creation of Telangana and deserved more support. As the protest continues, the demand for reform grows louder, with students urging the government to address their issues before further unrest spreads.
