Mumbai:
Crunchyroll has unveiled an exciting collaboration with acclaimed Indian actor Rana Daggubati, best known for Baahubali and Ghazi. Daggubati will voice the enigmatic Ice Elf Barca in the second season of the anime series Solo Leveling. Lending his voice in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, this marks a significant milestone for the growing Indian anime audience.
Adding to the buzz, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- fan omnibus film in Indian theaters on December 6, 2024. The movie will offer fans a first glimpse of Daggubati’s Hindi rendition of Barca.
About Barca
Barca, a formidable Ice Elf and boss of the Red Gate Dungeon, is known for his swordsmanship and stealth. His clash with protagonist Jinwoo promises an electrifying narrative.
“Voicing Barca in three languages has been an exciting challenge,” said Daggubati. “It allowed me to explore anime in a unique way. I can’t wait for fans to experience this journey.”

What to Expect
Solo Leveling is based on Chugong’s web novel, with the second anime season premiering in January 2025. The ReAwakening film will recap Season 1 and preview the next, available in Hindi, English, and Japanese.
Produced by A-1 Pictures and featuring music by Hiroyuki Sawano, the series promises world-class storytelling with a touch of Indian flavor.
