Telangana Government Partners with Workruit to Revolutionize Employment Ecosystem
Workruit, an AI-powered career and recruitment platform, has officially become the exclusive technology partner for the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET), a flagship initiative under the state’s Industries & Commerce Department. This partnership, which began in 2019, has been pivotal in bridging employment gaps across Telangana, providing job opportunities to citizens in both urban and rural areas.
Workruit’s involvement has evolved over the years, with the company playing a key role in designing DEET’s core infrastructure and enhancing its reach and usability. As DEET’s sole technology partner, Workruit continues to leverage cutting-edge solutions to help connect job seekers with opportunities that match their skills and aspirations. The platform’s transformation into a fully integrated government initiative highlights the success of Workruit’s Build-Operate-Transform model, which has effectively addressed real-time employment challenges.
At a special event held in Peddapalli this week, Telangana’s Chief Minister, Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy, and IT Minister Shri D. Sridhar Babu unveiled the new DEET logo, marking a significant milestone in the platform’s journey. The new logo symbolizes DEET’s growth and its ongoing role in providing job opportunities across the state.
Speaking at the event, Workruit CEO Mr. Manikanth said, “Technology can be a great equalizer. Through our collaboration with Telangana, we are making job opportunities more accessible to citizens, regardless of where they live. This is just the beginning, and we are committed to bringing the DEET model to other states to drive nationwide economic progress.”
DEET, now fully integrated into the Telangana Government, continues to transform the state’s employment landscape by fostering skill development and connecting job seekers with opportunities across various sectors.
Given the platform’s proven success in Telangana, Workruit is in talks with other state governments to replicate the DEET model, aiming to drive economic growth and employment across India.
