Hyderabad: Father Kills Son in Telangana’s Medak Over Harassment

In a tragic incident in Telangana’s Medak district on Thursday, January 16, a man stabbed his son to death, unable to endure continued harassment.

The victim, identified as 30-year-old Madasu Srikanth, was reportedly addicted to alcohol and frequently harassed his family. The incident occurred after Srikanth returned home intoxicated, leading to an argument with his father.

Later that night, while Srikanth was asleep, his father attacked him with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries. Srikanth died on the spot.

Police Investigation Underway

Authorities arrived at the village to examine the crime scene. The accused surrendered to the police shortly after the incident.

Srikanth’s body was transported to the government hospital in Toopran for postmortem examination. Based on initial investigations, the police have registered a case and are proceeding with further inquiries.
