67th Vanya Prani Saptah and 58th Zoo Day is celebrated today. Late K.V.S.Babu, IFS awards for rendering excellent zoo services were awarded to Sri.Ravinder Reddy, Animal keeper and Sri. Md.Afzal, Head Mali for the year 2021-22.

Sri. Ravinder Reddy , Animal keeper for taking care of the COVID affected Asiatic Lions and helping in their recovery without fear of his own life.

Sri. Md. Afzal, Head Mali for rendering services in the garden section by being prompt, punctual and hard working.

Speaking on the occasion Ms.V.V.L.Subhadra Devi, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad congratulated all the zoo staff members on the eve of 58th Zoo Day celebrations. She also said that from this year zoo will celebrate International Zoo Keepers Day and gave special awards to Animal keepers who rendered excellent services.
