Couple running school end lives

Hyderabad:  A couple running an educational institution in the Kurnool district ended their lives as they were unable to repay loans due to the pandemic on Monday. They alleged that they were harassed by the financers for repaying the installments.  

Karnati Subramaniyam and his wife Rohini, who was running Life Energy School in Kovelakuntla town, consumed pesticides and ended their lives as they were unable to repay loans to the loan sharks. They recorded their agony in a selfie video. They said they were unable to collect the fee from the students and repay the installments. They blamed Suman Singh and Sunil Kumar for torturing them for a long time. 

Subramaniyam was found dead while his wife passed away on the way to the hospital. His friends and associates found the couple near Karivemu Laxshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on the outskirts of the town.
