It is to be noted that Telangana has not had a permanent DME since its formation.

Hyderabad: Dr. A Narender Kumar Appointed as Telangana’s New Director of Medical Education

The Telangana health department appointed Dr. A Narender Kumar as the new Director of Medical Education (DME) on Thursday, January 23. According to Government Order No. 27, Dr. Kumar has been appointed on a temporary basis.

Dr. Kumar, who currently serves as the superintendent of the Government General Hospital in Wanaparthy, will take over the role from Dr. N Vani. The appointment order, signed by Telangana Health Secretary Dr. Christina Z Chongthu, has been circulated to the DME in charge, principals of medical colleges, and superintendents of government hospitals across the state.

It is noteworthy that Telangana has not had a permanent DME since the state’s formation.
