"Granting double-bedroom houses is not an act of generosity; it’s a constitutional obligation that the government is failing to uphold," Dr. Dasoju stated. He accused the Chief Minister of neglecting the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013, which ensures fair treatment for those affected by development projects. According to Dr. Dasoju, this key legislation is being bypassed in favor of political maneuvering.

The senior leader further condemned the government for using what he termed a "Bulldozer Raj" approach, steamrolling the rights of the displaced without consulting the affected communities. Dr. Dasoju argued that the ₹1.5 lakh crore Musi River Project is being treated more like a real estate venture than a public welfare initiative, with the interests of commercial developers prioritized over the rights of long-time residents.

"The government’s actions are authoritarian, placing profit over people who have lived there for generations," he said, demanding the immediate implementation of the 2013 Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act to ensure justice for the displaced families.
