Hyderabad, Nampally: Former Minister Harish Rao graced the Darshanam Patrika’s 20th Anniversary celebrations held at Lalita Kala Thoranam, Public Gardens. In his address, he lauded the tireless efforts of the publication in promoting spiritual values in the modern digital age.
“In today’s fast-paced digital era, running a spiritual newspaper is no small feat. I commend Venkatanna Garu for successfully leading Darshanam for two decades with unwavering dedication to the welfare of society, without any profit motive,” said Harish Rao.
Highlighting the legacy of the publication, he remarked, “A decade ago, Telangana’s first Chief Minister, KCR Garu, attended the annual celebrations of Darshanam. This itself speaks volumes about Venkatanna’s relentless efforts and commitment.”
Tribute to Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji
Harish Rao also paid tribute to Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji, hailing him as not only a spiritual leader and protector of Hindu Dharma but also as a profound humanitarian.
“Swamiji is an exemplar of human service. His contributions extend beyond spiritual guidance; through the Datta Peetham, he has established numerous educational institutions to nurture future protectors of Bharat’s culture and values,” said Rao.
Swamiji's belief that "service to humanity is service to God" resonates in his every endeavor. His groundbreaking work in demonstrating the healing power of music has made a significant impact on society.
“Just as every drop contributes to filling a reservoir, collective efforts build a harmonious society. This message from Swamiji inspires us all to join hands for societal betterment,” Rao concluded.
The event witnessed a gathering of dignitaries, spiritual leaders, and followers, celebrating two decades of Darshanam’s role in preserving and promoting cultural and spiritual heritage.
