Scoot Expands Network with Direct Flights to Vienna and Iloilo City

Singapore – 22 January 2025 – Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is set to launch new direct flight services to Vienna, Austria, and Iloilo City, Philippines, offering travelers more affordable access to these exciting destinations.

Starting 3 June 2025, Scoot will operate three weekly flights to Vienna on its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which accommodates 329 passengers in two cabin classes. The airline will also begin flights to Iloilo City on 14 April 2025 using the 112-seat Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. Initially operating twice a week, flights to Iloilo City will increase to four times weekly by June 2025.

Vienna: A Cultural Haven
Vienna, renowned as the “City of Music,” is a cultural gem, famous as the birthplace of classical music legends such as Mozart and Strauss. Visitors can enjoy its majestic architecture, rich heritage, and vibrant artistic scene. The city’s central location also makes it an ideal hub for exploring Eastern Europe, with nearby cities like Bratislava, Budapest, and Prague within a few hours’ drive.

Iloilo City: A Hidden Gem in the Philippines
Iloilo City, nestled in the heart of the Philippine archipelago, is a perfect blend of cultural heritage and scenic beauty. Known for its Spanish-era churches and the lively Dinagyang Festival, Iloilo offers a rich mix of history, charm, and unique local experiences.

Affordable Fares for New Routes
Flights to Vienna and Iloilo City are available for booking starting today. One-way Economy Class fares start at INR 11,740 from Chennai to Iloilo City, INR 13,648 from Amritsar to Iloilo, INR 30,320.91 from Chennai to Vienna, and INR 32,283.91 from Amritsar to Vienna. ScootPlus fares for Vienna start at INR 70,482.07 from Chennai and INR 72,410.07 from Amritsar, with all fares inclusive of taxes.

Network Adjustments
In line with these new services, Scoot will also optimize its network. Operations to Berlin and Jinan will be suspended after 28 March and 28 February, respectively, with affected customers being contacted for rebooking or refunds.
