Tajammul Taaj Fatima, the daughter of MD. Yousuf Sharfi, founder of Jai.Kissan Iron & Steel suppliers, is making waves in the realms of poetry, journalism, and social work. With qualifications including a B.Com from Osmania University, an MBA from ICFAI, and a Masters in Journalism from Osmania University, she is a force to be reckoned with.

Known by her pen name "Taaj," Tajammul is fluent in Urdu, English, and Hindi poetry. Her poetic repertoire spans themes ranging from nature and nation to human relationships, showcasing her versatility and depth as a writer. Participating in numerous Mushairas and Kavi Sammelans, including the world's longest online Mushaira by "Sifar," she has garnered acclaim for her evocative verses.

Beyond poetry, Taaj is passionate about various hobbies, including reading, cooking, painting, and listening to soft music and ghazals. Her journey into Urdu poetry began in her school days and was nurtured under the guidance of Ustad Hazrath Syed Hamed Mohi Uddin Hussaini Quadri Taji Sharfi, a renowned spiritual mentor and poet. Continuing her Urdu poetry education under Ustad Dr. Farooq Shakil, she developed a penchant for the Deccani style, appreciating its simplicity and heartfelt expression.

Taaj's dedication to Urdu language and literature extends beyond writing; she even portrayed the character of "Urdu" in a Tamseeli Mushaira organized by Jawed Kamaal of Rekhta Naama, earning the title of "Urdu Girl" from him. Her talent has been recognized with numerous awards and certificates at both national and international levels for her elegant and profound poetry.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Tajammul is deeply committed to social causes. She is an active member of Mehfil-e Khawateen and other literary and human welfare organizations, tirelessly working to promote education for underprivileged and orphaned children.
