KTR Tears Into Congress Rule: Telangana Cheated, Revanth Exposed

Hyderabad, April 13: Telangana has been "severely betrayed" for trusting a deceitful leader like Revanth Reddy, said BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) during a party workers’ meeting held in Malkajgiri. Criticizing the Congress government, KTR alleged that false promises made by Revanth Reddy and his party have pushed the lives of common people into crisis.

“Revanth Reddy’s baseless commitments and Congress’s irrational guarantees have turned out to be a disaster for the people of Telangana,” he said. “If you’re deceived once, the blame lies with the deceiver. But if you're fooled repeatedly, it’s our mistake. That’s why, in any upcoming election, people must reject the Congress.”

KTR appealed to the people to teach Congress a lesson in the upcoming GHMC elections. “Let’s not repeat past mistakes. Whether it is GHMC or any future election, reject Congress,” he urged. Taking a swipe at the current government, KTR remarked, “The entire state is suffering, yet Revanth Reddy seems to be the only one celebrating. Even ministers, MLAs, and party workers are dissatisfied under his leadership. One can imagine the plight of the common people. This is the result of a failed administration.”

He praised Malkajgiri MLA Rajasekhar Reddy for his consistent efforts to resolve local issues, including key problems like the dumping yard. “He has been protesting against government failures and proving that electing the right leader can bring meaningful change,” said KTR.

Calling for a united front against both the Congress and BJP, KTR said, “Whatever the election, whatever the occasion – this time the people must teach both the Congress and BJP a lesson. There is only one party capable of protecting Telangana’s identity and providing hope to the people – the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.”

He also urged party members to make the upcoming BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations on April 27 a grand success. “Our 25-year journey is a milestone that every worker should be proud of. In both Telugu states, BRS stands as the second party to achieve this feat, and it’s a matter of pride for us,” he said.

Before KTR’s address, a massive rally was organized to welcome him. Several leaders from the Congress and BJP officially joined the BRS in his presence.
