BRS Silver Jubilee Meet: Advocate Mir Qurram Ali Rallies Telangana Youth, Mahila, and Students to Make April 27 Gathering a Grand Success

Hyderabad\
As the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) gears up for its historic silver jubilee public meeting at Elkathurthy on April 27, Advocate Mir Qurram Ali — GHMC Coordinator of BRSV (BRS Student Wing) — has issued a clarion call to the youth, students, women (mahila), and general public across Telangana to come together in large numbers and make the event a grand success.
Speaking passionately about the importance of unity and the future of Telangana, Qurram Ali emphasized that the time has come to stand strong against the Congress-led Revanth Reddy government, which he described as “anti-Telangana.”
“We have realized our mistake in voting for Congress. They betrayed our trust and stalled the schemes that benefited lakhs of people. It’s time to teach them a lesson and remind everyone of who truly fought for Telangana’s statehood,” said Qurram Ali.
He hailed BRS and its supremo K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) as the only leaders who genuinely worked for the people of Telangana. “Under KCR Garu’s leadership, BRS delivered numerous welfare schemes such as Shadi Mubarak, Kalyana Lakshmi, overseas scholarships, Eid gift packs, and the Bathukamma festival celebrations. These schemes brought smiles and support to lakhs of families across the state,” he added.
The silver jubilee celebrations mark 25 years since BRS was founded in April 2001. The massive meeting is being held on 1,213 acres near Warangal, with 154 acres allocated for the main event stage and the rest for parking and logistics. A grand 120×80 feet stage is under construction, where KCR and senior party leaders will address the crowd.
Advocate Qurram Ali urged all students and youth to be part of the movement and reaffirm their support for the party that gave Telangana its identity. “This is not just a celebration; it is a resistance. A resistance to betrayal, a resistance to broken promises,” he said.
Preparations for the April 27 meeting are in full swing, with the entire Elkathurthy area being transformed with pink banners, arches, and flags. BRS leaders, including MLCs and MLAs, are supervising arrangements and mobilizing the cadre through mandal and constituency-level meetings.
Adding momentum to the buildup, BRS supporters from various districts are participating in walkathons toward Elkathurthy, while party workers go door-to-door to invite citizens to the event.
As Telangana gears up for one of its largest political gatherings in recent memory, the message from BRS and its leaders is clear: it’s time to unite once again — not just to celebrate 25 years of struggle and governance, but to reignite the fight for Telangana’s future.
