Sangareddy, May 29: On Wednesday Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar demanded that Fertilizers and seeds should be made available to farmers in Kharif - . Rythu Bharosa funds should be released at the rate of Rs.7,500 per acre in June itself, before the start of monsoon season agricultural work.
In the common state, like shoes were lined up for fertilizers and seeds, now under the Congress rule, there is a situation where passbooks are being lined up again.
Agriculture department officials should be vigilant about fake seeds. If fake seeds are supplied, case should be registered under PD act. Farmers should be made aware about fake seeds. Measures should be taken to provide subsidized fertilizers and seeds to farmers and provide loans through banks. We should give compensation to the mango farmers who lost due to monsoon rains and the farmers who lost due to wet rice grains.
