Jubilee Hills Police Arrest 8 in High-Profile Crime Case, Recover Stolen Property

In a significant breakthrough, the Jubilee Hills police apprehended eight individuals involved in a series of grave offenses including abduction, confinement, and theft. The arrests were made in connection with an incident registered under Cr.No. 577/2024 at Jubilee Hills Police Station, involving deliberate trespass and intimidation tactics. The crime took place during the early hours of July 10, 2024, at HUDA Enclave, Nandagiri Hills, Jubilee Hills.

 

The arrested individuals have been identified as follows:

 

1. Akula Jagadeesh (A1), 34 years old, Business Consultant

2. Kolagatla Gowtham (A2), 26 years old, Pvt. job holder

3. Katha Siva Shankar Reddy (A3), 24 years old, Pvt. job holder

4. Sudagani Sujith Kumar (A4), 24 years old, Software Employee

5. Kamal Teja (A5), 27 years old, Software Professional

6. Shaik Azad (A6), 24 years old, Student

7. Karnati Mukesh (A7), 33 years old, Printing Press owner

8. Rakesh alias Praveen (A8), 24 years old, Car Driver

 

The accused, known to the victim, perpetrated these crimes which included physical assault, illegal confinement, and theft of valuable items. The stolen property recovered by the police includes 84 laptops, 4 cars, 18 phones, and 3 passports belonging to the victim and their family members. Additionally, 2 cars and 1 motorbike belonging to the accused were seized during the investigation.

 

According to the victim, Ravichandra Reddy, founder of Gigleaz Pvt Ltd, the incident unfolded due to financial disputes involving consultancy services and delayed salary payments to over 1,200 employees. Matters escalated when the accused forcibly entered the victim's residence, assaulted him, and looted electronic devices and other belongings.

 

The Jubilee Hills Police conducted a meticulous investigation, gathering crucial evidence such as witness statements, CCTV footage, and forensic data. The investigation was overseen by Clues Team Officer M. Bhupathi Reddy, ensuring thorough documentation and preservation of evidence.

 

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jubileehills Division, emphasized the diligent adherence to legal procedures during the arrests, ensuring the rights of the accused were respected. Medical examinations and COVID-19 tests were conducted as per protocol, maintaining the integrity of the investigation.

 

Efforts are ongoing to further investigate the case, reconstruct crime scenes, and gather additional evidence. The police have requested custody of the accused for further interrogation to ensure a comprehensive resolution and deliver justice.

 

Meanwhile, a complaint has been filed by the victims against Ravichandra Reddy for alleged offenses of cheating related to job fraud. The matter is currently under investigation at Raidurgam Police Station.
