7th Muharram Shahzada-e-Qasim (A.S) Mehndi Majlis at Pari Mahal, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, 13th July 2024– Thousands of devoted Shia Muslims attended the Mehndi Majlis of Shahzada-e-Qasim (A.S) at Pari Mahal in Hyderabad on the 7th of Muharram. The event, held in honor of Qasim ibn Hasan, the son of Imam Hasan (A.S) and grandson of Imam Ali (A.S), drew a large crowd of followers who came together to commemorate the young martyr.

The Shia youth took charge of organizing the event, ensuring the distribution of Tabarruk (blessed food) to all attendees. Numerous Anjumans (religious organizations) actively participated in the majlis, performing Matam (ritual mourning) to express their grief and solidarity with the family of Imam Hussain (A.S).

The keynote speaker, Maulana Hyder Agha, addressed the gathering, delivering an inspiring speech that resonated deeply with the participants. His words paid homage to the sacrifices made by Shahzada-e-Qasim (A.S) and emphasized the importance of unity and devotion in these sacred days.

From the 1st to the 10th of Muharram, arrangements have been made to distribute Tabarruk at Yakutpura X Roads in Hyderabad. This initiative aims to honor the memory of Imam Hussain (A.S) and his companions, providing sustenance to devotees throughout the period of mourning.

The event at Pari Mahal was a testament to the unwavering faith and commitment of the Shia community in Hyderabad, reflecting their deep-rooted traditions and respect for their religious heritage.
