Jaipur Jewellery Show Draws 50,000 Visitors, Showcasing Global Glamour

Special Delegations from Russia, Thailand, and Bangkok Add Global Flair

Jaipur: The 20th edition of the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS), popularly known as "The December Show," concluded on a high note, attracting an impressive 50,000 visitors over its four-day run at the JECC. The event, which ended on Monday, received resounding praise from organizers, exhibitors, and attendees alike, cementing its status as a premier platform for the jewellery industry.

In his welcome address, JJS Chairman Vimal Chand Surana highlighted the event’s milestones, including record participation and an increase in business opportunities. He announced that the next edition of JJS would take place from December 19 to 22, 2025.

Honorary Secretary Rajiv Jain shared key statistics, noting the participation of 7,915 outstation attendees and 593 international visitors from regions including Hong Kong, the USA, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Special delegations from Russia and Thailand underscored the show’s growing global appeal.

The event featured a glittering array of highlights, including the JJS Awards. Actor Vani Kapoor attended as the guest of honor, while Nandini Gupta enhanced the networking dinner’s elegance. A captivating performance by the Swaraag Band added a cultural touch to the evening.

Pearl Academy won the Best Institute Display award, while the Best Booth Awards and Best Young Women Achievers Awards celebrated outstanding contributions. The Ruby Redefined design competition, focusing on innovative ruby gemstone creations, saw Manvi Gupta clinch the top prize, followed by Sonal Lakhera in second place, with Happy Shayamsukha and Kriti Khabiya sharing third.

A series of insightful seminars addressed key industry topics, including jewellery trends, AI-powered design, and Jaipur's unique advantages as a jewellery hub. Sessions featured industry leaders like Navrattan Ji Kothari and Promod Derewala, offering valuable insights for attendees.

At the valedictory session, JJS Spokesperson Ajay Kala praised the event’s success, describing it as the most comprehensive and business-oriented show to date. Mementos were presented to long-standing vendors, many of whom have supported JJS since its inception in 2003.
