Balapur Police Intensify Checks Ahead of New Year Celebrations

Balapur Police have stepped up inspections at farmhouses, hotels, mandi restaurants, and other establishments in preparation for the upcoming New Year celebrations. The initiative aims to curb illegal activities and ensure a safe and drug-free environment.

As part of the operation, special teams have been formed to crack down on drug peddlers and users. The police are particularly focused on preventing the consumption and distribution of contraband drugs.

The intensified checks were led by ACP Maheshwaram Laxmikanth Reddy, with the participation of SHO Balapur Sudhakar, SIs Shaik Yousuf Jani, Srinivas, and Prasad, along with other staff from the Balapur Police Station.

Authorities have assured the public that such measures are in place to ensure a safe and celebratory New Year for all.
