LG India Expands Blood Donation Drive Nationwide with ‘Life’s Good When Life’s Shared’ Initiative

LG Electronics India has announced the launch of the third edition of its Mega Blood Donation Campaign, reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility under the theme "Life’s Good When Life’s Shared." The initiative aims to engage communities, particularly the youth, by organizing 400 blood donation camps across 70 cities.
Building on the success of its previous drives in 2019 and 2023, which saw 188 camps and over 17,700 registrations, LG now aims to secure 30,000 registrations in 2025. The campaign will offer donors essential medical checkups, refreshments, and certificates of appreciation, ensuring a seamless donation experience. LG Electronics India is collaborating with organizations such as Care Today Fund, United Way Mumbai, and Sakashm Bharti Foundation to foster a strong culture of voluntary blood donation in India.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Hong Ju Jeon, MD, LG Electronics India, stated:
"We are committed to continuing CSR programs with meaningful impact. The third edition of the Mega Blood Donation Campaign reflects our dedication to making ‘Life’s Good’ for people. Our goal is to encourage community participation and raise awareness about the importance of blood donation."
Alongside on-ground donation camps, LG will drive mass awareness campaigns through radio and digital media to educate citizens on the benefits of blood donation.
To enhance accessibility, LG India will launch a dedicated microsite (https://lg-india.com/blood-donation/), enabling individuals to pledge support, register for camps, and access real-time updates on donation locations and guidelines.
Through this initiative, LG Electronics India continues to promote the values of sharing and giving back to society, reinforcing its belief that "Life’s Good When Life’s Shared."
