Tollywood Actress Unveils 100 MBF Millet Stores, Empowering 100 Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Hyderabad: Millets National Media Portal (www.millets.news) has launched an innovative initiative that integrates health and entrepreneurship, with 100 MBF Millet Stores inaugurated by Srinivas Sarakadam at Minerva Banquet Hall, Madhapur. This milestone event brings together 100 aspiring entrepreneurs from lower-income backgrounds, offering them an opportunity to build sustainable businesses while promoting millet-based nutrition. The event was graced by Tollywood actresses Vedvika and Vaanya Aggarwal.

Speaking to the media, Srinivas Sarakadam, a well-known business mentor, highlighted the significance of this ambitious project. He stated that this initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s declaration of 2023 as the International Year of Millets and is part of the broader efforts of Millets National Portal to develop a structured millet-based economy across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Recognizing the scarcity of ready-to-consume millet products, Millets.News has partnered with manufacturers across India to introduce 50 premium millet products. These products will now be available through the newly launched stores, making millet-based nutrition both accessible and affordable.

Entrepreneurs can start their millet store business with an investment of just Rs. 85,000, which includes:

  • 50 millet products

  • Billing machine

  • TV setup for health awareness content

  • Banners, brochures, and branding materials

  • Website and digital marketing support

  • Health check-up kit

This well-structured approach ensures that store owners have all necessary resources to thrive in the millet industry while contributing to public health awareness.

To further enhance the impact of these millet stores on community health, Millets.News has established the Health and Nutrition Ambassadors (HNA) Council. Initially comprising 50 doctors, the council aims to expand to 1,000 members by the end of 2025.

HNA Council members will work with store owners to provide personalized dietary advice on chronic conditions such as:

  • Hypertension

  • Diabetes

  • Weight management

  • Arthritis

  • Cancer

  • Cardiovascular diseases

This collaboration ensures that millet store owners receive ongoing guidance from nutritionists and doctors, enabling them to educate customers on the health benefits of millet-based diets.

To guarantee the success of these millet entrepreneurs, Millets.News is offering extensive training and business support. The launch event featured prominent industry leaders and health experts, including:

  • CS Lavanya

  • CA Praveen

  • Bolisetty Srinivas

  • Dr. Monica Sravanthi (Naturopathy Expert)

  • Chief Nutritionist Manoja

Additionally, entrepreneurs participated in hands-on health check-up training sessions, covering blood pressure (BP), diabetes, and BMI assessments.

This initiative not only promotes economic empowerment but also strengthens community health by making millet-based nutrition widely available. With continued training, collaboration, and government support, these 100 millet entrepreneurs are set to reshape the future of healthy eating in India.
