IMT Hyderabad Holds Convocation Ceremony for the Batch of 2022-2024

IMT Hyderabad celebrated the academic achievements of its graduating batch of 2022-2024 with a grand convocation ceremony held on campus. The event marked a significant milestone for students and was graced by the presence of Shri Sunil Mathur, Managing Director and CEO of Siemens India, as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony began with an inspiring academic procession led by Dr. Chakrapani Chaturvedula, Dean (Academics), IMT Hyderabad, alongside the Chief Guest, Director Dr. K. Sriharsha Reddy, members of the Board of Governors, and faculty. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing unity and enlightenment, set the tone for the proceedings.
Dr. K. Sriharsha Reddy presented the annual report, highlighting the institute's achievements over the year, including the launch of two new programs: PGDM-IT in partnership with HCL Tech and PGDM-Logistics and Supply Chain Management in collaboration with the CII Institute of Logistics. He also commended the remarkable placement success, with over 70 esteemed companies like BNY Mellon, PepsiCo, and Accenture offering opportunities to students.
Addressing the graduates, Shri Kamal Nath, Chief Mentor of IMT Hyderabad, lauded the transformation of students into skilled professionals. He urged them to uphold the institute’s values of integrity, empathy, and innovation while emphasizing resilience and ethical leadership. He encouraged them to remain connected with the institution's faculty and alumni, fostering a lifelong bond with IMT Hyderabad.
Shri Sunil Mathur inspired the audience with insights into the transformative role of technology and innovation in shaping the future. He urged graduates to lead this wave of change with curiosity, passion, and a commitment to continuous learning. He emphasized the significance of staying ahead in a competitive world through networking and adaptability.
The ceremony also recognized academic excellence, with four gold medals and four silver medals awarded to outstanding students. A special Distinguished Achievement Award was also conferred, celebrating exemplary dedication and success.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Chakrapani Chaturvedula, who congratulated the graduates on their achievements and extended best wishes for their future endeavors. The Chief Guest, Shri Sunil Mathur, was honored with a token of appreciation by Dr. Reddy.
