Dr. Sravan Dasoju has sharply criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his alleged authoritarian leadership, condemning the filing of illegal cases against BRS Party leader Harish Rao. Dr. Dasoju accused Reddy of using intimidation to stifle opposition and suppress dissent, calling the actions a desperate attempt to maintain power by silencing political rivals.
In his statement, Dr. Dasoju said, “Under Revanth Reddy’s oppressive rule, questioning authority has become a punishable offense. This attack on Harish Rao represents a direct assault on democracy and is a clear example of Reddy’s dictatorial and unconstitutional approach to governance.”
Dr. Dasoju vowed that such tactics would not succeed, declaring, “We will not be silenced, nor will we rest until these oppressive measures are dismantled. The people’s voice cannot be criminalized.” He also quoted civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., asserting that “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Dr. Dasoju concluded by urging the people of Telangana to resist and hold Reddy accountable, calling for a united stand to protect democratic values and uphold the Constitution.
