Hyderabad, May 30: JNTUH students and the JNTUH Protection Force are sending postcards to the Governor and Chief Minister of Telangana, advocating for vice chancellors to be appointed based on merit rather than political influence. They oppose the appointment of Dr. S.V. Kota Reddy, the current Vice Chancellor of VIT AP Private University and an associate of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. They believe that vice chancellors should be selected from those serving in government universities.
