BRSV Demands NEET-UG Retest for 24 Lakh Aspirants Amid Paper Leak Suspicions

HYDERABAD: The BRS Student Wing (BRSV), along with other student organizations, is demanding a retest of the NEET-UG for all 24 lakh medical aspirants following suspicions of a paper leak. A protest rally will be staged on Tuesday in front of Raj Bhavan, Khairatabad, Hyderabad, under the leadership of BRSV State President Gellu Srinivas Yadav.

Addressing the media, BRSV GHMC Coordinator Mir Qurram Ali called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take strict action against the National Testing Agency (NTA) and to cancel the NEET 2024 examination. Ali also demanded that 1,008 MBBS seats be reserved exclusively for students from Telangana, emphasizing the need for more medical college seats for local students. Furthermore, the protesters called on the Bar Council of India (BCI) to investigate the alleged NEET scam.

The BRSV and allied student bodies believe that a fair retest is the only solution to restore the integrity of the examination and ensure that deserving candidates are not deprived of their rightful opportunities due to the alleged malpractices. The protest is expected to draw significant attention, highlighting the urgent need for a resolution to this issue.
