Dileep Reddy Visits TG Residential School in Medak District, Addresses Student Concerns
Tropran, Medak District – Dileep Reddy, PhD (OU), former Telangana agitator, and the current BRSV State General Secretary, visited the TG Residential School and Junior College in Toopran Mandal, Medak District, as part of the Gurukula Baat program, organized by the BRS Student Wing.
During his visit, Reddy engaged with students, listening to their concerns and challenges, and emphasizing the importance of quality education, student welfare, and the need for better facilities within the state's educational institutions.
In a poignant moment, Reddy addressed the rising concerns over student deaths in Telangana's residential schools and colleges. Disturbing reports indicate that 48 students have tragically lost their lives in the past year, with 38 of these deaths attributed to food-related illnesses and unsafe conditions in residential hostels.
Reddy acknowledged the gravity of the situation and assured students and staff that the Government would take immediate steps to improve food safety, enhance hostel infrastructure, and ensure the overall safety and well-being of students in educational institutions across Telangana. He reiterated his commitment to addressing these pressing issues and creating a safer, healthier learning environment for all students.
