BRSV Gurukul Beta Hyderabad Team Visits Trimes Minority School and College in Yakutpura to Address Student Issues
Hyderabad, December 1, 2024 –
Under the leadership of BRSV State President, Gellu Srinivas Yadav, the BRSV Gurukul Beta Hyderabad team conducted a visit to Trimes Minority School and College in Yakutpura. The delegation was accompanied by Adv. Mir Qurram Ali, Incharge of BRSV Hyderabad, along with key members Dr. Manzoor, Lihar Katnathi, and Azher.During the visit, Adv. Mir Qurram Ali expressed his concern about the severe challenges faced by students in the region, particularly in schools and colleges within the Yakutpura constituency. He highlighted that many students are experiencing dire conditions, including a lack of basic amenities such as beds, stationery, and clothing. He pointed out that the government should step in and provide better facilities for these students, stressing the importance of forming a special team to verify and address these issues."I have visited 5 to 10 schools and colleges in Hyderabad, including several SC/ST hostels in the area," said Adv. Qurram Ali. "The situation is critical, with students struggling to find proper accommodations. In Sadabad Gurukul Maila Hostel alone, over 600 students are cramped in insufficient space. Many of the girls are forced to sleep on the ground, which is both uncomfortable and unsafe."Additionally, during a conversation with the principal of one of the schools, it was revealed that students face harassment from hostel owners and that numerous tenders for necessary improvements remain pending. The school also suffers from a shortage of staff, making it harder to manage day-to-day operations and provide a better environment for students.Adv. Mir Qurram Ali's visit to the area aims to bring these concerns to the forefront, urging the government to take immediate action. His efforts are focused on improving the living conditions and educational opportunities for students in underprivileged communities across Hyderabad. The BRSV team has committed to following up on these issues, ensuring that the government takes necessary steps to address the needs of these students.
