KL Deemed to be University Hosts Record-Breaking Convocation

KL Deemed to be University hosted its XIV Annual Convocation at the Vijayawada campus, marking a significant milestone for 4,706 graduates, including 166 Ph.D. scholars, 604 postgraduates, and 3,936 undergraduates. The ceremony recognized academic excellence with the presentation of 42 gold medals and 37 silver medals to top achievers, celebrating years of hard work and dedication.

The event was graced by former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, who delivered the convocation address, emphasizing the transformative power of education and innovation in shaping the future. Kovind inspired graduates to embrace lifelong learning and pursue their potential with integrity. The occasion also saw the presence of Hon’ble Justice Shri Abdul Nazeer, Governor of Andhra Pradesh and former Supreme Court Judge, along with Smt. Savita Kovind.

KL Deemed to be University’s Chancellor, Er. Koneru Satyanarayana, addressed the graduates, urging them to become architects of the future and create positive change in the world. Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Pardha Saradhi Varma highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering innovation, noting the institution’s research centers and industry collaborations that prepare graduates to tackle global challenges.

The grand Open-Air Theatre, adorned in the university's colors, served as the backdrop for the celebrations, where graduates, families, and guests gathered to honor academic achievements. Students like R. Priyanka, a B.Tech graduate, shared their excitement for the future, while parents expressed pride in their children's accomplishments.

KL Deemed to be University, accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC and ranked 22nd in NIRF 2024, continues to lead in global education.
