Harley’s India and Fine Baking achieved a remarkable feat by setting a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest Russian Medovik Honey Cake, weighing an astounding 2,254 kilograms. The event, held at the Maaya Convention Centre in Kondapur, Hyderabad, saw the participation of over 500 bakers, chefs, and support staff who worked together to create this extraordinary culinary creation.
The cake, which measured 7 feet by 70 feet, broke the previous record held by Spinneys Dubai by an impressive margin, surpassing it by ten times. The successful attempt was the result of meticulous planning and collaboration, with the Guinness World Records team officially recognizing the achievement.
In a ceremonial moment, Rishi Nath, a Guinness World Records adjudicator, presented the official certificate to Mr. Suresh Naik, CEO of Harley’s India, amid cheers from the crowd. Expressing gratitude to the team and participants, Naik emphasized the importance of teamwork and innovation. "This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and creativity of everyone involved. The Russian Medovik Honey Cake is not just a dessert; it is a symbol of teamwork and innovation," Naik said.

In a collaborative effort, Harley’s India partnered with Swiggy to distribute portions of the massive cake to schools and NGOs. Siddharth Bhakoo, National Business Head for Swiggy, expressed pride in the partnership, stating, “Using our XL fleet, we were able to spread smiles among schools and NGOs by distributing the cake. We are committed to supporting our restaurant partners in all their endeavors.”
