In line with this directive, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sri C.V. Anand, IPS, visited the Telangana Minorities Residential (TMR) Girls School in Musheerabad, Bagh Lingampally, today.

During his visit, the Commissioner inspected the facilities and interacted with students to understand their concerns. Accompanied by Smt. K. Vanishree, Principal, and Dr. K. Challa Devi, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, Sri C.V. Anand examined the school’s infrastructure, including the kitchen, sanitary facilities, science and computer labs, robotic lab, sports room, and student dormitories.

The Commissioner reviewed the quality and type of meals being provided—breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner—and discussed the school’s teaching methods with the staff. He expressed satisfaction with the facilities and acknowledged the Telangana government’s efforts in providing excellent educational opportunities, quality food, and infrastructure to students in Gurukuls.

Addressing the students, Commissioner Anand encouraged them to maintain a healthy diet and actively participate in extracurricular activities like sports to build resilience and well-rounded personalities. "These activities not only contribute to physical well-being but also help in dealing with life’s challenges and understanding diverse perspectives," he stated.

He applauded the achievements of students, especially those who succeeded in national-level entrance exams like NEET, crediting the dedication of the teachers and staff for these milestones. He urged students to aspire for civil services and other prestigious careers, emphasizing, "Stay healthy, stay safe, study hard, and fulfill the dreams of your parents and teachers. Live up to their hopes."

The Telangana government has allocated a budget of Rs. 500 crore to enhance the facilities of social and minority welfare hostels and schools, including nutrition and hygiene products. Sri C.V. Anand commended the initiative, saying it ensures a better future for students.

The visit concluded with the Police Commissioner inspiring students to aim high and contribute positively to society.
