ServiceNow Appoints Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as MD and Group VP for India and SAARC
Mumbai: ServiceNow, the global leader in digital workflows, has announced the appointment of Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as the Managing Director (MD) and Group Vice President (GVP) of ServiceNow India and the SAARC region. The appointment will take effect on 6 January 2025, further reinforcing the company’s commitment to driving digital transformation in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
Ganesh brings over two decades of leadership experience, having previously served as the CEO of Airtel’s domestic B2B business and as President and MD of Dell India. He is recognized for his inclusive leadership style and ability to build high-performing teams that drive exceptional results. In his new role, Ganesh will be pivotal in advancing ServiceNow’s position as a leader in digital innovation across the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Bengaluru, Ganesh will oversee the company’s business operations in India. ServiceNow’s India Technology and Business Centre, the largest outside of the US, plays a crucial role in supporting global operations and platform innovation. India is home to over 20% of ServiceNow’s global workforce, with one-third of the company’s engineers based in the country. Additionally, over 40% of ServiceNow’s global product engineering is driven from India, highlighting the nation’s importance as a key hub for innovation.
