Free Sewing Machines Distributed to Minority Women under Indiramma Mahila Shakti Scheme

In an effort to empower minority women, the Telangana Minority Finance Corporation will provide free sewing machines under the “Indiramma Mahila Shakti Scheme.” Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District Collector Hanumantha Rao has called on eligible women to apply for this scheme through the official online portal: tgobmms.cgg.gov.in. The application deadline is set for the 31st of this month.
The scheme primarily targets minority women, including Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis. To qualify, applicants must meet specific criteria:
1. Preference will be given to women who are poor, homeless, widowed, divorced, orphaned, or single.
2. A White Ration Card or Food Security Card is required. If neither is available, an income certificate stating that the applicant's income does not exceed Rs. 1.50 lakh for rural areas or Rs. 2.00 lakh for urban areas is necessary.
3. Applicants must provide proof of residence through an Aadhar card.
4. Women aged 18 to 55 are eligible (age to be verified using Voter ID or Aadhar card).
5. A tailoring certificate from the Telangana Minority Finance Corporation or any government-recognized institution is preferred but not mandatory.
6. A minimum educational qualification of 5th grade is required.
7. Applicants must submit a self-declaration stating that they have not received any financial or material benefit from the Telangana Minority Finance Corporation in the last 5 years.
To complete the application, the required documents should be submitted online and physically to the District Minority Welfare Department Office, Room No. F16, Integrated District Collector's Office, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
