Hyderabad: NSUI Activists Attack BRS Office Over Remarks Against Telangana CM**

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party office in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Telangana, was vandalized by National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) activists on Saturday, January 11. The attack was triggered by allegations that the BRS district president had made abusive remarks against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Outrage over the remarks led the Congress' student wing to storm the BRS office despite the presence of police. Videos of the incident show NSUI workers destroying furniture, tearing down party banners, and removing a photograph of BRS supremo and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

Recent Political Clashes in Hyderabad
This incident follows a similar confrontation earlier in January when Youth Congress workers stormed the BJP party office in Nampally, Hyderabad. Their protest was in response to misogynistic comments made by BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi.

In retaliation, BJP workers at the office confronted the protesters with sticks, leading to a physical altercation. The situation escalated further when BJP activists counter-attacked Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress headquarters, later that day. Hyderabad police intervened with a lathi charge to disperse the BJP cadres and restore order.

Government Response
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka condemned the incidents, asserting that such acts of violence would not be tolerated. He emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order in Hyderabad.

These back-to-back clashes reflect the rising political tensions in Telangana ahead of the upcoming elections.
