Madhya Pradesh Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Simultaneous Hindu Text Recital at International Gita Mahotsav

Bhopal, December 16, 2024: Madhya Pradesh made history on Wednesday by setting a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Simultaneous Hindu Text Recital” during the International Gita Mahotsav in Bhopal. The event, organized by the state’s Department of Culture, celebrated the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and showcased the region’s rich cultural heritage.

 

The record-breaking attempt was led by Nischal Barot, a renowned consultant specializing in large-scale events and record-setting initiatives. Barot’s meticulous planning and coordination ensured the successful execution of the event, bringing global attention to Madhya Pradesh’s spiritual and cultural significance.

 

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, 3,721 participants gathered to simultaneously recite verses from the Bhagavad Gita, uniting individuals from diverse backgrounds in devotion to the sacred text.

 

“This historic achievement reflects the cultural and spiritual strength of our people,” said Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. “The Bhagavad Gita is a timeless guide for humanity, and this event has deepened our connection to its values of unity, self-discipline, and universal harmony.”

 

World record strategist Nischal Barot expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “This record not only highlights India’s cultural richness but also demonstrates our organizational capabilities and global aspirations. The record-setting recital was part of a larger celebration at the International Gita Mahotsav, which featured cultural performances and spiritual discourses. The event attracted thousands of participants, including devotees and scholars, further solidifying Madhya Pradesh’s position as a leader in preserving and promoting India’s spiritual legacy.

 

This accomplishment adds to Barot’s impressive portfolio, which now includes 52 Guinness World Records. His expertise in orchestrating large-scale record attempts continues to make a significant impact on the global stage.
