BRSv Coordinator Mir Qurram Ali Condemns Attack on Party Office by Congress Leaders
HYDERABAD :
In a strongly worded press conference today, Mir Qurram Ali, the BRS GHMC Coordinator, condemned the recent attack on the BRS office in Bhongir district, allegedly carried out by Congress leaders. Addressing the media, Qurram Ali demanded immediate action against those involved, calling the incident a blatant attack on democracy.
“Law and order have deteriorated ever since Revanth Reddy became the Chief Minister. With the Home Ministry under Revanth Reddy’s control, Congress workers have become emboldened,” he alleged. He criticized CM Revanth Reddy for his alleged provocative statements in the past, accusing Congress leaders of promoting a culture of abusive language and intolerance.
Qurram Ali also called on TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud to instill discipline among Congress workers, warning that such attacks would not be tolerated. “It is very shameful to attack the office of an opposition party. Congress is trying to hide its failures and divert public attention by engaging in such tactics. They have failed to implement their six guarantees and are now resorting to divisive politics to mislead the public,” he asserted.
Stressing the importance of upholding law and order, Qurram Ali emphasized that the BRS will take legal recourse to address the situation. “We respect the law, which is why we are pursuing this matter legally. However, we will not tolerate such actions in the future. We know how to respond if provoked,” he said firmly.
The BRS leader also reiterated that questioning the Congress government’s promises is not a crime. “Congress is failing to deliver on its promises, and when questioned about their six guarantees, they resort to attacks instead of accountability. If Congress continues its unruly behavior, they will have to face the consequences,” he added.
The incident has sparked outrage among BRS supporters, who see the attack as an attempt to stifle dissent. Qurram Ali’s statements reflect growing tensions between the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS, as political rivalry intensifies in the state.
