16 women injured in accident in Kolhapur :Police

Kolhapur, Dec 17 (UNI) As many as 16 women passengers were injured while one was serious in an accident which occurred at Tlere-Kolhapur national highway early Friday morning.

Gaganbavda police said, a bagasse loaded truck which was heading to Kokan overturned on a passenger tempo traveller mini bus following bursting of truck's front wheel, injuring 16 women.

They are being treated at a hospital at Gaganbavda in Konkan.

A case was registered and further investigation is on, police added.
