Former Minister joins BJP in Goa

Panaji, Dec 17 (UNI) Former Goa Minister Rohan Khaunte on Friday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The former Porvorim MLA said the decision to join the BJP was taken after consulting people of his constituency.

"Goa is going through political turmoil. We will have to make wise decisions,' he said.

Khaunte's decision came a day after two-time MLA Alina Saldanha quit the BJP and joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
