Vagator, Goa: India Bike Week (IBW), presented by Gulf Syntrac, is back with its 11th edition on December 6 and 7, 2024. The largest gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts in Asia promises an unforgettable weekend filled with racing, music, and cultural showcases under the unifying theme “Everyone as One.”
Racing Highlights:
IBW 2024 introduces two FMSCI-affiliated grassroots races—Hill Climb and Flat Track, with total prizes worth ₹12 lakh. Registration costs ₹1,250 for Flat Track and ₹1,000 for Hill Climb, inclusive of licenses. Fun racetracks like Tiivra Action Games and Dirt Dash will add to the adrenaline rush. Fans can also meet international racing legend Xavier Simeon, who will share his career stories.
Unveils and Performances:
Top brands like Hero MotoCorp, KTM, and Brixton will unveil motorcycles, accessories, and TV series. The event also features live performances by artists such as rapper Divine, hip-hop star Brodha V, and Indie artist OAFF. Adding to the spectacle is the Moto Mayhem FMX Show, presenting a double jump showcase by international athletes.
Cultural Celebrations:
The Big Trip Tent will host global icons like Elspeth Beard, the first British woman to circumnavigate the world on a bike, and Indian adventurer Meenakshi Das. Riders can explore overlanding tips at the newly added Big Trip Expo.
Safety and Community Engagement:
Safety sessions, off-road riding workshops, and expert talks aim to promote responsible riding. Bollywood actor Amit Sadh and other stars will engage with the biking community, sharing their travel adventures.
