Bangalore: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today celebrated a remarkable achievement, marking the sale of 1,00,000 wholesale units of its popular model, the Innova HyCross, in India. This milestone, reached on the second anniversary of the vehicle’s launch, underscores the growing demand for the HyCross across the country, including in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
The Innova HyCross, introduced in November 2022, represents Toyota’s commitment to sustainable mobility through advanced technology and innovative design. Built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), the model offers a choice between a 5th-generation self-charging strong hybrid electric system and a 2.0-litre gasoline engine paired with a direct shift CVT. The hybrid variant delivers 137 kW (186 PS) of power and best-in-segment fuel efficiency, with 60% of its operation in EV mode, blending performance and eco-consciousness.
