Constitution Day: Dr. Sravan Highlights Police Actions and Governance Failures in Telangana

– On Constitution Day, Dr. Sravan Dasoju, BRS spokesperson, condemned the detention of Asifabad MLA Smt. Kova Laxmi, calling it an "affront to constitutional values." Smt. Laxmi was detained while visiting a grieving family, sparking widespread outrage.“Offering solace to a mourning family is not a crime but a fundamental duty. This misuse of power is unconstitutional,” said Dr. Sravan, demanding accountability from the police and senior officials.Dr. Sravan also criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s administration over recent food poisoning incidents in government schools that claimed 48 lives and sickened 900 students. He slammed the lack of a dedicated Education Minister, accusing the government of negligence and misplaced priorities.“Children’s safety should come first. These failures highlight a governance crisis that must be addressed urgently,” he stated. Public anger continues to mount as calls for reform grow louder.
