Three Killed in Bike Accident in Telangana's Jagtial
Three youths lost their lives in a tragic accident in Telangana’s Jagtial district on Friday, January 10. The collision occurred when two motorcycles traveling in opposite directions crashed on the outskirts of Thakkallapalli along the Jagtial-Dharmapuri main road.
The victims were identified as Arvind and Sai, both from Jabithapur, who died on the spot. Vamshi, a resident of Kondapur, succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
This is one of several fatal accidents reported in Telangana recently. On January 4, an elderly couple was killed in Nizamabad when a speeding truck struck their bike from behind. The victims, Laxman (60) and Rajamani (55), were traveling toward Navipet when the incident occurred.
Police, alerted by locals, arrived at the accident sites, shifted the bodies to government hospitals for postmortem, and initiated investigations.
The rising number of road accidents in the state has sparked concerns about traffic safety and the need for stricter enforcement of road regulations.
