Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sneha posted a picture of her order—a **bhutta (steamed corn)** priced at ₹525. This dish, typically available for ₹30-50 from street vendors, was garnished with coriander, lemon, and a spread, but the cost left many users baffled.  

“Paid ₹525 for this today at One8 Commune,” Sneha captioned her post.  

Viral Post Sparks Mixed Reactions  
The post quickly went viral, dividing opinions online. While some criticized the café’s pricing, others defended it as part of the premium experience.  

“You paid for the ‘community’ One8 has created—the people, the music, the vibe, and of course, the premium location,” commented one user. Another added, “The ambience is the real product; the food is secondary.”  

Not everyone was convinced, though. One user quipped, “They made you pay the Kohli tax,” while another criticized the overall experience, saying, “The food didn’t justify the price, and their policy against casual footwear like Birkenstocks was disappointing.”
