Allapur Corporator launched retaining wall works on nala to stop inundation..

Kukatpally, May 26 (Ravi Kumar): Allapur division Corporator Sabiha Ghouseuddin along with A.E. Ranjith started works of the retaining wall of nala at Gayatri Nagar with a cost of Rs. 66 lakhs in Kukatpally Constituency on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Corporator said that the division was able to develop with the help of MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, and today we started the construction of a new retaining wall on the nala at Gayatri Nagar at a cost of Rs 66 lakh. She said every year rainwater from the nala leads to flooding of several areas in the division, causing untold hardships to the people living in these localities. As a part of permanent solution to this problem the government has taken up projects under SNDP. The contractor was directed to complete the work expeditiously in view of the forthcoming monsoon season. The event was attended by Work Inspector Balaram, Welfare Society Presidents Ramulu, Kashinath Chari, Sanjeeva Reddy, Topi Chari, Ismail, Yogi, Tulsi Ram and others participated.
