All India Shia Civil Council Forms Telangana State Committee to Address Local Community Issues

Hidayath Ali Mirza, President of the All India Shia Civil Council for Social Justice, announced that since its inception in 2022, the Council has been actively advocating for the socio-economic concerns of India's Shia Muslim community. The organization has been working tirelessly to raise awareness both within the community and among government authorities.

"In our ongoing efforts, we have received overwhelming positive responses, and a significant collective responsibility has been placed upon us," said Mirza. "To fulfill this responsibility, it has become essential to establish state-wise committees across the nation. These committees will allow us to better understand and address localized issues, with a focus on using local insights to create tailored solutions. The Council aims to extend its leadership and reach within the community, ensuring that even the most marginalized voices are heard."

Today, the national committee of the Shia Civil Council is pleased to introduce the newly formed Telangana State Committee. Mushtaq Hussain has been appointed as the President of the Telangana chapter, along with other key members, including scholars and prominent figures from the community.

"We are confident that the Telangana State Committee will work diligently to meet the aspirations of the Shia Muslim community, striving for social justice for this minority within a minority in India," added Mirza. "The Shia Civil Council will serve as a platform to ensure the community's concerns are addressed."

During the ceremony held at the Council’s office in Lakdi-ka-pul, Hyderabad, Hidayath Ali Mirza, along with national committee members, presented certificates to the newly appointed Telangana State Committee members.
