Hyderabad: Government Teachers Assigned New Roles to Boost SSC Students' Exam Performance
In a bid to enhance the performance of Class X students in the upcoming SSC Public Examinations scheduled for March 2025, the School Education Department has tasked government and local body school teachers with new responsibilities.
As part of the action plan, teachers will be required to adopt students and help them with their preparation. This includes making morning wake-up calls to ensure students begin studying on time. Teachers will also engage with parents to discuss the child’s study schedule and address any gaps in their preparation.
Teachers have been instructed to complete the syllabus by January 10. Following this, special morning and evening sessions will be conducted. Each session will begin with a 20-minute explanation of key concepts, followed by 40 minutes dedicated to practice. Students will be encouraged to read lessons, write answers, and practice questions from the ‘Abhyasa Deepika’ guidebook.
Once the regular syllabus is completed, one day will be dedicated to explaining a lesson, with the following day set aside for a test. Teachers will also analyze past question papers and guide students on how to write clear and concise answers, paying special attention to handwriting.
For students who are struggling, teachers will provide personalized attention to help them grasp key concepts and practice effectively. Additionally, the timetable for the pre-final exams, set for February/March 2025, will be released in February.
