Hyderabad: AIMIM Takes Credit for Construction of Aramgarh-Zoo Park Flyover Ahead of Inauguration
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is leaving no stone unturned in taking credit for the construction of the 4-kilometre flyover connecting Zoo Park to Aramgarh, which is being hailed as the second-largest flyover in Hyderabad.
The flyover, a six-lane structure stretching 4 kilometers from Aramgarh to the Nehru Zoological Park, has been built under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP) at a cost of Rs 799.74 crore. Officials stated that the flyover aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the surrounding areas. The new flyover will provide a smoother journey for around 2,000 buses, both public and private, that originate from the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) in Imlibun, serving various regions.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the flyover at 4 pm in the presence of AIMIM party president Asaduddin Owaisi, ministers, MLCs, MLAs, senior officials, and local public representatives.
Before the official inauguration on Monday, AIMIM MLC Mirza Rahmath Baig, along with party corporators and leaders, led a large procession from Hassannagar to the inauguration venue. The procession was filled with party supporters, dancing to drum beats in celebration. AIMIM party cadres had decorated the flyover with massive cutouts and flags.
Party sources mentioned that AIMIM leadership aims to highlight the project as a significant achievement for the party, showcasing their efforts in demanding, securing sanctions, and ensuring the timely completion of the mega infrastructure project.
