Telangana Boy Dies by Suicide After Dispute Over New Year Wishes to Female Classmate

The incident took place in Bheemuni Malla Reddy village, situated in the Ghambirraopet mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district.

Hyderabad: A 16-year-old class 10 student from a government school tragically took his own life after allegedly being reprimanded and physically assaulted by the family of a female classmate to whom he had sent New Year wishes on January 1. The incident occurred in Bheemuni Malla Reddy village, in the Ghambirraopet mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district.

According to the boy's mother, she was also threatened by the girl’s family. Overcome with distress, her son took his own life at their home, as confirmed by local police.

After the news of his death broke, the girl's family reportedly fled the village. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to uncover more details surrounding this tragic event.
