Hyderabad: A heartbreaking incident occurred on Tuesday, January 7, in Malakpet village, Medchal, under the jurisdiction of the Genome Valley police station, where two-year-old Aryan Kumar tragically drowned in a sump. Aryan lived with his parents and three siblings, who are daily wage workers.

On that fateful afternoon, Aryan’s parents opened the sump lid to wash their hands but forgot to close it afterward. Later, after lunch, they realized Aryan was missing and began searching for him. Unfortunately, they discovered that he had fallen into the sump.

Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Aryan was declared dead by the attending doctors. The police have registered a case in connection with the tragic incident.
