Pawan Kalyan Praise Telangana CM as 'Great Leader' Following Pushpa 2 Stampede
: On Monday, December 30, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan praised Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, calling him a “great leader” for taking swift action against those responsible for the tragic stampede at the premiere of *Pushpa 2: The Rule* at Sandhya Theatre on December 4.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Pawan Kalyan expressed support for the Hyderabad police, emphasizing that the law applies equally to all. “I do not blame the police in such incidents. Their goal is to ensure public safety. However, the theatre staff should have informed Allu Arjun about any issues earlier,” he remarked.
Commenting on the death of 35-year-old Revathi in the stampede, Pawan Kalyan said, “It would have been better if someone had visited the victim’s family earlier on behalf of Allu Arjun. Revathi’s death has deeply shocked me. The incident, which was already tragic, became an even greater sorrow. We should have offered our support to the family much sooner.”
On December 4, Allu Arjun attended the *Pushpa 2* premiere at Sandhya Theatre, where an uncontrollable crowd caused a stampede, resulting in Revathi’s death and leaving her son critically injured.
Pawan Kalyan added, “There should have been a sense of regret from Allu Arjun. There is a clear lack of humanity in this situation. Everyone should have gone to Revathi’s home to offer their condolences and reassurance.”
The Andhra Deputy CM concluded by stating that public anger stems from the absence of such a gesture. He noted that Allu Arjun must also feel the pain of knowing someone lost their life due to the incident.
