Hyderabad: Man Dies in Accident in Vikarabad District

A tragic accident occurred in Telangana's Vikarabad district on Thursday, January 2, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old man. The deceased, identified as Shanta Kumar, was from Karnataka and worked at a company in Hyderabad’s Gachchibowli area.

Kumar had been informed of a family emergency and borrowed a bike from a friend to travel back to Karnataka. The accident took place in Pargi, Vikarabad, when a lorry collided with his bike near a plaza. The impact caused Kumar to fall from the bike, and he succumbed to serious injuries at the scene.

Speaking to Siasat.com, the Pargi police confirmed that a case of death due to negligent driving has been registered under Section 106(2) of the Indian Penal Code. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
