Hyderabad: Telangana residents are advised to prepare for another cold spell as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad predicts a significant drop in temperatures, leading to cold weather across the state.

Minimum temperatures in various districts are expected to range between 11 and 15 degrees Celsius. The forecast also indicates a cold wave in the northern parts of Telangana.

This cold weather forecast is valid until January 5, 2025.

According to the Telangana Development Planning Society, the lowest minimum temperature of 7.3 degrees Celsius was recorded yesterday in Kumaram Bheem. In Hyderabad, Maredpally saw the lowest temperature of 13.9 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast for Hyderabad:
While Hyderabad is unlikely to experience extremely cold weather, the IMD forecasts partly cloudy skies throughout the city until Sunday. Additionally, misty or hazy conditions are expected during the morning hours across all six city zones—Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally.

In light of these forecasts, residents of Telangana, particularly in the northern districts, are urged to take necessary precautions over the coming days.
